Anthony & Vanessa’s Wedding – Fremantle Town Hall & Esplanade Hotel

When a touch of old charm and a beautiful couple meet, you have a very stylish, chic &  timeless wedding.  This is how I can describe the Fremantle wedding of Anthony & Vanessa a couple of weeks ago.

They held their ceremony at the Fremantle Town Hall followed by the reception at The Esplanade hotel

There was so much love and respect between them, their family & friends.  Most weddings have teary eyed moments, and this one was no different. Most of Anthony’s family lives in Chile and since only a handful could be here with them, they decided to do a live broadcast of their ceremony to the family in Chile.  As a surprise to everyone, including Anthony, she read her vows in both English and Spanish … and thanks to her in-laws help with the correct pronunciation, she did an amazing job.

We photographed their e-session earlier this year throughout the streets of Fremantle and so they knew exactly where they wanted their wedding photo’s done … that was until Vanessa’s beautiful heels got the better of her feet.  Anyway, she and her aching feet worked together and pushed through and to make it easier on her feet, we took different (and shorter) walkways to the hotel.  The result … we loved not using the same spots as on their e-session!

Thanks guys for having us capture your beautiful and special day.  We loved spending time with you and love how your wedding story unfolds in our images.

Much love,

Deon & Natasha

xoxo

Anthony & Vanessa’s Fremantle E-session

When you photograph a stunning couple, magic happens!

How absolutely gorgeous is Anthony & Vanessa.  We had the absolute pleasure of photographing their e-session in Fremantle.  They will be getting married there in 4 weeks time and so we walked the streets to find the perfect spots for their session & upcoming wedding.  These 2 are so in love, so easy in front of the lens and really only have eyes for each other.  They made our job super easy and really fun.

We are extremely excited and looking forward to capture their beautiful wedding in February.  They definitely are the dream couple!

Much love,

Natasha xoxo

Reuben & Nicole’s E-session

Perth is known for it’s wind this time of year and boy did we have wind on the day Reuben & Nicole chose to do their e-session a couple of weeks ago.  But I love it when a couple embraces the weather like they did.

Nicole wanted their 1st part to have a forest feel and so we opted for the gorgeous Wanneroo Pines.  She bought her beautiful bright red dress online from Boohoo and it absolutely suited the forest just perfectly.

The 2nd part of their session was photographed at Quinns Rocks beach.  This time the wind really really blew and it was super cold, but both Reuben & Nicole was not going to let the weather interfere with their session.  I knew that this type of weather would produce absolutely amazing photo’s and I was not disappointed one bit.  The clouds, the light, the wind & the couple … everything was just perfect!

Thanks Reuben & Nicole for being super fun and up to anything we suggested.  We loved spending time with you guys.

Baby Daniel & Family

Peaceful, beautiful and special … that’s how I can describe this little guy.  Little Daniel was born a couple weeks ago and is the newest member of the Labuschagne family.

I’ve had the pleasure to photograph big brother Nicolas for the last 3 years to celebrate each birthday.  Soon we will have our 4th celebration session. (Have a look at his 1st, 2nd & 3rd sessions.)

I love doing natural sessions like this one.  Everyone is comfy and relaxed in their own familiar space.  We even got a couple of smiles from little Danieal … OK … burb smiles, but they do count as smiles don’t they 🙂

Thanks dear Labuschagne family for having us capture you guys as a family of 4, we had so much fun and loved the results.

Much love,

Natasha xoxo

Kirby’s Dancing Session

A couple weeks ago we photographed Kirby in a few of her dance costumes for her annual dance concert which was about to take place that weekend.  She wanted an industrial touch and so one of the abandoned  shops in our area was the perfect background for this session.  Adding some OFC (off camera flash) added loads of interesting drama to some of her images.

I always enjoy doing something different and this session was truly so much fun.

Enjoy browsing through Kirby’s session.

Beauty & Nature

A couple of weeks ago we asked Katie-Ann to be our model for a styled session. Katie-Ann has the longest most beautiful hair and so every time I walked past her I knew I had to use her in on of my styled sessions.

We love photographing down at the beach and this specific part of the beach is one of our favorites. This time around, however, we found the unexpected. Upon our arrival the most beautiful green moss that covered the rocks greeted us. God sure does know how to make the earth beautiful.

Thanks Katie-Ann for being our model. We love how the images turned out!

To clients … book me for a similar session asap. Imagine how gorgeous a canvas similar to these images will look on your wall. Definitely a timeless piece of artwork.

Enjoy looking at these gorgeous images,

Stay fabulous … Natasha xoxo

Roche & Sascha – Caversham House Perth

When beauty, handsome and classic meets …

A couple weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure to photograph the children of one of our best friends wedding.  It’s always an honour when any couple wants us to be their photographer … even more so when it happens to be great friends.  The only difference for us at a wedding like this is that we get to dress like guests and not the normal black outfit.  For the rest we approach this just the same as any other wedding.  It is a bonus when you know some of the guests and the family and so this do make our job easier when we need to photograph the important members.

We had an early start since we had to photograph Roché and the boys first.  Driving to his parents house, we were greeted by a couple of raindrops, but that did not last long before we had a perfect sunny day.  Next stop was the girls who got ready at Mandoon estate.  Roché & Sascha opted to do most of their photo’s, including the family photo’s, before the ceremony.  They wanted to have a 1st look session at Mandoon and then the group would move to Brookleigh for the rest of the photo’s.  I love it when a couple gives us loads of time for their photo’s;  this way they get the best of what we can offer.  No rush at all.  Their actual wedding took place at the gorgeous Caversham.  Beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding and an indoor reception.  We had another hour for more couple photo’s at the venue which made for some amazing photo’s.

We had a great time and did enjoy some dancing and fun through the night, eventhough it was hard to put down our gear and let loose.  The photographer part in us is always on the lookout for a moment to capture!

Thank you Roché & Sascha for letting us be part of your special day.  We had a fantastic time and we loved every minute spend with you.  We love how your images turned out!

Happy browsing 🙂

Much love

Jan-Hendrik’s Year 12 Ball – Perth

Up on my blog today is another year 12 ball session.

I got to photograph Jan-Hendrik for this special occasion.  All smiles and ready for the big night, we had a ball photographing him.  Such a relaxed and happy young man to photograph.  Our jobs was definitely easy with him in front of the lens.

We hope you had a blast and a night filled with great memories.

Much love

Elzarie’s fairytale Perth Year 12 Ball

Year 12 Ball time is always the best.  I get to see the excitement of beautiful teenagers like Elzarie.  She is the 3rd sister that I got to photograph for the last 3 years for this special occasion.

We had a beautiful overcast afternoon which made for some spectacular images which she will treasure forever.  Elzarie, you looked absolutely beautiful.  We wish you a very happy blessed last year of school.  May all your dreams come true!

Love, Natasha
